The ELITE XT is a PVC-U add-on box system that can be used and integrated in a variety of ways in any masonry situation. The plastic roller shutter box can be flexibly doubled in depth on the inside and outside as well as in height at the top, additionally with insulation, according to the existing masonry situation. Various PVC and aluminium box end profiles for interior and exterior use complement the connection to all commercially available plaster systems.

A wide variety of installation situations can be catered for thanks to the different box designs. The following variants are available for the inspection:

• Inspection bottom inside (RUI)
• Internal inspection (RI)
• External revision (closed on room side, RG)

The ELITE XT roller shutter box system with external revision (RG) is used when maximum airtightness is required. This is achieved by the offset base profile, which allows the box to be completely plastered inside and sealed airtight. Roller shutters, external venetian blinds and textile blinds can be integrated for privacy and sun protection.

Front-mounted elements are suitable for flexible use in renovations and new builds, regardless of window systems and sizes, thanks to their wide range of application options. You can choose between roll-formed and extruded box elements with bevelled or rounded panels. Boxes, guide rails and roller shutter hangings are available in a wide range of colours. The curtains are either made of highly impact-resistant branded plastic or roll-formed, foamed aluminium. Front elements can be equipped with belt pull as standard, but also optionally with belt crank, cord, cord crank winder, transmission, bevel gear or with proven electric drives (also as solar), various programmable motorised control systems and even with radio. All moving parts are designed for maximum stress and a long service life.

The boxes are manufactured with die-cast blind caps, inlet funnels and belt discs made of high-quality plastic, with plain bearings in telescopic octagonal steel shafts with roller capsules for quick assembly/disassembly of the shaft. The armoured connection with steel suspension springs (standard for manual operation and motors with adjustable end positions) or for increased burglar resistance and anti-lift device with fixed shaft connectors (standard for plug & play motors). The end rail is made of extruded aluminium as standard with piping and rotating end rod glides, optionally with removable brackets or stop plugs
