Infinite colour variety – Schüco UnlimitedFinish

Colour accents give every façade a special touch. With a wide range of design films, Schüco offers many options for enhancing the appearance of PVC-U windows and doors. The extensive range of films brings fresh colours and stylish designs to the design – from classic white to bold colours. Realistic-looking wood textures are also available.

PVC windows with decorative films are a compelling choice: they offer excellent thermal insulation, durability and attractive value for money. The films are lightfast, weatherproof and have proven themselves in everyday use. They also meet the requirements of RAL-GZ 716 and are regularly tested to ensure consistently high quality.

Schüco decorative films can be applied to one or both sides. This means they can be individually adapted to the façade and interior design.

Whether finely textured or smooth, decorative films add visual accents and enable harmonious design for every building façade and architectural style.

Processing advantages

    • The colour spectrum of the decorative films ranges from classic white to bold shades, and the range is complemented by finely textured wood finishes
    • Range of standard and special films with more than 300 metallic and plain colours as well as wood finishes
    • Consistent colour concept for all Schüco PVC-U window, doors and sliding systems. Standard films are available at short notice.
    • Processing is the same as for white Schüco PVC profile systems.
    • Schüco PVC systems are available in a range of profile base colours to match the film range.

Even more powerful: cool colours PLUS

With the cool colours PLUS variant, Continental offers an advanced solution specifically for dark surfaces. It reduces heat absorption by up to 5°C compared to other heat-optimised films on the market. This allows even greater design freedom for coloured profiles – even in regions with extreme climates.

Two-colour designs – different inside and outside

All decors and surfaces are also available in two-colour versions. This means that the window can have a different colour on the outside than on the inside – for example, aludec window grey on the outside and turner oak malt on the inside. Important: The base body (e.g. rebate areas) has a different colour, in this case grey.

Types of glass for all needs

Glazing is the central functional component of a window and has a significant influence on its overall performance. As it makes up the largest part of the window area, choosing the right type of glass is crucial. Specialised glazing solutions are available for almost every requirement: highly effective soundproof glass with integrated sound insulation

membranes is used in noisy environments. Safety glass with increased break-in resistance offers reliable protection when there is a need for enhanced security. And modern thermal insulation glazing – available as double or triple glazing – enables significant energy savings, which has a positive impact on both the indoor climate and operating costs.

Soundproof glazing

Noise pollution is a problem both in cities and in rural areas. In some cases, it is too loud to allow for a good night’s sleep. Constant noise can even make you ill. Soundproof glazing is the solution to this problem. And a positive side effect is the good thermal insulation provided by this type of glazing.

Safety glass

Laminated safety glass (LSG) owes its safety properties to a tear-resistant and tough elastic film between the glass panes, which binds splinters in the event of breakage and thus significantly reduces the risk of injury.

Sun protection glazing

Special sun protection glazing is available to prevent living spaces from overheating in summer. The panes, tinted with colour pigments and precious metals, absorb most of the heat and release it back outside without darkening the room too much.

Types of bars

Glass-dividing glazing bars

In classic glass-dividing glazing bars, the insulating glass panes are separated. Each individual glazing bar section is fitted with an insulating glass pane.

Glued-on glazing bars

Glued-on glazing bars consist of built-in spacer profiles and glazing bars attached to the outside, creating the impression of genuine glazing bar insulating glass.

Glazing bars in the space between the panes

An internal glazing bar is a powder-coated aluminium glazing bar that is installed in the space between the panes. It looks similar to a real handcrafted glazing bar.
